All offers are "verified offers". A verified offer is essentially like making the seller an "All Cash! Sell it now!" offer.
As the buyer, your credit card will be charged for the full sale price when the offer is made and, if the seller accepts the offer, the deal is done. We have found, when presented with a confirmed offer, sellers are often compelled to sell things even cheaper!
To make verified offers as attractive as possible to sellers, we require:
- All verified offers be at least 50% of the listing price.
- All offers be paid in full by charging your credit card at the time the verified offer is made. If the offer is accepted, the charge stands. If the offer is not accepted or countered, we automatically refund you in full immediately**. Upon receiving a verified offer, the seller has 72 hours to accept, decline or counter the verified offer.
If you are working with a seller who has more than one of an item and you are interested in buying multiples of that item from them, simply change the quantity by hitting the + (or minus) sign until you have the correct number selected. After setting the quantity, if you want to make “make an offer” simply enter in the amount per item in the “Your Offer” field. The total of your offer based on the quantity selected will be displayed in the “Subtotal” field to the right.
When an offer is not accepted or countered we release the funds back to the buyer's account immediately. Typically the pending offer charges will simply disappear from your bank or credit card statement vs. showing as a charge and credit. Please note: Depending on your financial institution, the release may take up to 5 days to appear on your account.
The offer feature is available on all products with the exception of art prints and items sold in multiple quantities.
