Common FTP Issues:
Protocol not set to “SFTP”
- Path: Site manager> General tab> Protocol> In the dropdown select “SFTP”
Can’t Locate Encrypted Zip File After Download:
The encrypted zip file is given to the seller via email. The seller will need to download the file then locate it when it’s time to connect. However, sometimes the file can be difficult to locate. Once you select “Browse” from the Site Manager during the initial connection to the FTP the pop up window will normally will be set to search for “PPK files” select the dropdown and select “All files”
Inventory File is not saved in CSV format:
In order for the inventory file to process correctly after being dropped into the Chairish FTP the file MUST be saved in csv format. If the file is not in csv format the file will fail.
Here are the steps to save the file in csv format:
- In your Excel spreadsheet, click File
- Click Save As
- Click Browse to choose where you want to save your file
- Select "CSV" from the "Save as type" drop-down menu
- Click Save
