Benefits of the Extended Return Policy
As an added measure of protection, the Extended Return program provides Chairish Trade Program members with:
- 14 days after delivery to initiate the return of an eligible item*
- No restocking fees
- Direct access to customer service 7 days a week
*To be eligible, all items must be returned unused and in the original condition received. The Extended Return benefit will be invalidated if the item is believed or determined in Chairish's sole discretion to have been used for commercial purposes (ex. photoshoots, displays, shows, etc.) or for any reason other than product evaluation during that 14 day window. Please see below for restrictions.
Initiating a Return
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, Chairish Trade Program members have 14 days from the time of delivery to contact Chairish Trade Support to initiate a return.
Once the return is approved, return shipping labels or shipper details will be provided.
- It is the buyer's responsibility to deliver the item to the parcel shipper or coordinate pick-up with the in-home shipper.
Upon receipt of the item by Chairish, and the condition confirmed as original, a refund will be processed to the same card or other method of payment used for purchase. The refunded amount will include the following:
- Cost of the item
- Taxes (if assessed as part of the order)
- Any non-shipping fees
The cost of outbound shipping and return shipping will be deducted from the amount of the refund.
Note: You must notify Chairish of any broken items within 48 hours of delivery, failure to report damage upon receipt may negate the Extended Return benefit.
Refund Timeline
Refunds are issues to your original payment method. Once we process a refund, most banks post the credit within 3–5 business days. You'll receive an email confirmation from us as soon as the refund is issued.
Processing times are controlled by your bank or card issuer and can vary by institution and payment method. Some banks or card issuers may take until the next statement cycle to display the credit, even if they have received it. If you don't see your refund after 5 business days, first check with your bank/card issuer. If it's still not visible, contact us and we'll review the refund details and assist further.
Extended Return Restrictions
The Extended Returns program is offered exclusively to Chairish Trade Program members who are signed into Chairish.com with a valid Chairish Trade account.
Extended Returns do not apply to:
- Custom/Bespoke/Made-to-Order items
- Items where Local Pickup was utilized instead of shipping
- Items with an original list price below $30
- Items with an original list price of $50,000 or above
- Items used for commercial purposes, including, but not limited to photo shoots, show houses, social media posts.
- Items that are lost, damaged, or broken after delivery. Chairish must be alerted of any broken items within 48 hours of receipt.
