Online shopping is competitive, and the Chairish shopper is savvy. Please so keep this in mind when pricing your items.
While we'd love to be able to help you price your items, Chairish doesn't employ licensed appraisers or offer valuation services. Although our Curators are not able to advise on pricing, fair market value is something we consider in the listing review process. If we determine that an item’s value is misrepresented, we may choose to decline your item. Our Curators always consider fair margins for markdowns, which typically start at about 30% more than the minimum you are willing to accept for a product. Learn more about markdowns here.
Performing online searches for similar items can help you to gauge the price point for which others may be selling similar items.
We do recommend checking our Pink Book to find what similar items have sold for on Chairish. This guide is best used as a guide to price points on Chairish, not as a definitive reference to assess value.
Another great option is to search the Chairish gallery pages to see the range of pricing on current listings.
If you’d like to seek professional help valuing your items, we always recommend using an appraiser that is accredited by the Appraiser’s Association of America.
