Door Thickness
This selection represents the door dimensions a piece of hardware can be used with.

Backset
The backset is the measurement from the edge of a door to the spindle mechanism. The backset you choose reflects where your doorknob(s) will sit on the door.

Handle Function
The handle function field represents the appropriate use for door hardware.

Center to Center
The Center to Center measurement is specific to cabinet & drawer hardware. This field represents the distance (in inches) between the center of one screw hole to the center of the other. This measurement determines what hardware will fit + and whether a buyer will need to drill new mounting holes.

Bathroom Hardware - Mount Type
The mount type field represents the way that a piece of hardware is affixed to a surface. This field is available to a variety of Bathroom Fittings, Fixture, and Bathroom Hardware categories.

| Recessed | Requires a space the be cut out of a wall or ceiling, which the hardware is set into in order to be installed. |

| Wall / Surface | A hardware element that is permanently affixed to a wall, like a standard towel bar. |
