This article describes the different options for purchasing an item on Chairish, as well as the items you should review prior to making a purchase.

Purchase Options
Prior to making on purchase on Chairish, be sure to review all of the details about the item to ensure there are no surprises with your purchase.
Once you've found an item you love, there are two options for making on purchase on Chairish:

Add to Cart: Add the item to your cart and purchase it for the listed Asking Price plus any applicable shipping, taxes, or other fees.
- Coupon and Discount Codes can be redeemed during checkout.
- For Trade Program members, Net Pricing is applied at checkout.

Make an Offer:
- Coupon and Discount Codes (including Trade Rewards) cannot be redeemed when making an offer.

Prior to Purchasing
Prior to using either of the available purchasing options, it is important that you thoroughly review the item listing to ensure you're getting exactly what you're looking for, and to make sure you're aware of any imperfections the item may have.
Item Images
First, review all of the images of the item. You can make sure you've seen all of the item's images by clicking on the image thumbnails to the left of the item or by clicking on the Right/Left Arrows on either side of the item.
Item Details
Next, review the Details section of the listing to find out more about the item's size, color, weight, condition, and what additional pieces/accessories may be included. Click the Read More Details link within the Details section to ensure you are seeing all of the pertinent item details.
If you have additional questions about the item, click the Message Seller button on the right side of the page to ask the seller for more information.
Shipping Options & Costs
Be sure to click on the Calculate Your Shipping Costs link under the item's Details section to ensure you understand the available shipping options and timelines, as well as shipping costs.

If you're interested in purchasing an item but would like to use a shipping method that is not listed in the item details, you can message the seller to see if they offer any other shipping options.
Return & Cancellation Policies
Next, be sure to review the Returns & Cancellations section to ensure you understand our policies surrounding returning an item or cancelling an order.
Seller Profile
And finally, you may also want to review the seller's profile to learn more about them, see where they are located, and read reviews from other buyers. You can do this by clicking on the seller's name (or company name) below the item, on the right side of the page. If you have any questions at all about the item, click the Message Seller button to send them a message to get more information about the item.

Add to Cart Purchase Option
Once you've found an item you'd like to purchase and you've reviewed all the item's details, you can click on the Add to Cart button to the right of the item. Once you are ready to checkout, click on the Shopping Bag icon in the top right corner of the page to begin the checkout process.
A panel will pop out from the right side of the page. Click the Checkout button to continue.
The Checkout page will open. On the Checkout page, you will be prompted to enter your shipping address (this address is used to calculate taxes), select a shipping method, and enter your payment details.

Once you submit your purchase, you will receive an email confirmation, along with any next steps relating to shipping or pickup/delivery.

Make an Offer Purchase Option
The Make an Offer option is available on most products. All offers are "verified offers" which shows the seller that you are serious about purchasing their item, so be sure to review all of the item's details before making an offer.
The minimum offer you submit must be at least 50% of the listing price. Upon submitting an Offer, your credit card will be charged for the full offer amount, including shipping, taxes, and processing fees, where applicable. These funds will be releases immediately if the seller rejects your offer or makes a counter offer.
To Make an Offer, enter the amount of the offer to the right of the item and then click the Review Offer button.

Troubleshooting
Unable to Complete Purchase
If you encounter any issues when attempting to purchase an item, please follow the troubleshooting steps below:
- Confirm you are logged into your Chairish account and that your Shipping Address is in the continental United States.
- Confirm that you selected a Shipping Method by clicking the Use These Shipping Methods button under the 'Shipping Method' section of the Checkout page.
- Confirm that you submitted all of the correct payment details and clicked the Use This Payment Method button under the 'Secure Payment Method' section of the Checkout page.
- Confirm you clicked the Submit Your Order button under the 'Review & Confirm' section of the Checkout page.
- Clear your browser cache & cookies, close your browser completely, and attempt to submit your purchase again.
- Try to complete the purchase using a different browser, such as Safari, Chrome, Firefox.
